Health Careers
Certificate program at Bay College

Why Health Careers?
This certificate lays the foundation for students interested in careers in healthcare. It is completed prior to being admitted into a transfer program in a variety of health-related fields. This certificate also provides an opportunity for eligible students to complete a co-op experience or a Certified Nursing Assistant program.
CERTIFICATE REQUIREMENTSWhy Bay College?
The Health Careers certificate program at Bay College Certificate helps students begin their education before starting a transfer program in a health-related field. It will give them the basic knowledge and skill sets essential for health occupations, preparing them for later studies. Many of our students utilize the phlebotomy “elective” option to complete their certificate by participating in a 160 hour co-operative experience at an area healthcare facility to become a Certified Phlebotomist.
