Why Public Administration?
The study of Public Administration provides the academic preparation and practical skills needed for working in a variety of professional positions in the public sector within national, state or local government agencies, as well as nonprofit organizations. Most programs are based in the academic area of political science and will also include studies in organizational theory, leadership, management, budgeting, communication, conflict resolution, and public policy analyst.

The Public Administration program at Bay College offers students an introductory pathway into the further study of Public Administration. In addition to a core of political science courses, students may also choose to complete an internship working for a government institution or other organization.
